Market Leaders in Mesotherapy Technology

Our mesotherapy products are crafted to suit each practitioner’s distinct requirements.

Treatment FAQs

IED mesotherapy can effectively treat small to large areas of skin without causing any bleeding. A series of light needle scratches means there’s no pain, making it ideal for use in sensitive areas such as the scalp. Pre-numbing of the skin isn’t required, which saves treatment preparation time. This method utilises a 30g x 13mm needle with the bevel up and inclined at a 15° angle in relation to the skin, supported by a low pressure of 40g.

The Mesolift technique primarily aims to decelerate the skin’s ageing process. Facilitated by the active ingredients injected and technique employed, Mesolift treatments induce the production of collagen and elastic fibres, promoting epidermal hydration. This is an excellent local revitalisation method that enhances moisture, texture, brightness, and promotes skin detoxification. Pure vitamins, hyaluronic acid diluted with vitamins, and pure hyaluronic acid are often used. Each session typically lasts around 30 minutes, scheduled no more than 15 days apart.

To fully comprehend the benefits of mesotherapy for this indication, one must remember some essential facts about hair density, diameter, and its capacity for growth and resistance.

Hair goes through three phases: the growth or anagen phase, the involution or catagen phase, and the hair fall or telogen phase. A diagnosis of alopecia is typically given when hair loss occurs at a rate of over 60 hairs per day. Mesotherapy can treat up to stage 4 of the Norwood and Hamilton classification for male androgenetic alopecia and up to stage 2 of Ludwig’s classification for female androgenetic alopecia. Additionally, it can be used to treat postpartum hair loss, which usually results in fast and systematic hair restoration, but is generally ineffective in treating androgenic alopecia.

Success is dependent on a variety of factors, and results can vary from person to person. However, mesotherapy can slow down or even stop hair fall, increase thickness and shine, and accelerate local scalp circulation. The active ingredients used in mesotherapy contain a revitalising mixture of vasodilators and vitamins that stimulate hair bulbs and provide them with the necessary raw materials to accelerate regrowth. Some key ingredients include B vitamins (1, 2, 5, 6, 9, 12), vitamin C, vitamin H, vitamin B5 (dexpanthenol), and magnesium, which fights against oxidative stress and promotes angiogenesis.

The mesotherapy protocol for alopecia involves four sessions spaced 15 days apart, followed by four sessions spaced a month apart, and then one treatment every three months for maintenance. Treatments should be initiated early enough to increase the duration of the hair cycle whilst avoiding exhaustion of the hair follicles. The persistence of a fine ‘down’ before treating  alopecia-affected areas ensures greater treatment success.

After four sessions, mesotherapy can result in a 90%+ reduction in hair fall, as well as visible regrowth after about three months. The younger the patient, the more significant the regrowth. This makes mesotherapy is an effective and safe treatment option for individuals experiencing hair loss, especially those in the early stages of alopecia.

Mesotherapy is highly effective in treating cellulite in both men and women. The treatment path follows a rigorous four-point protocol with the composition of active ingredients, the depth of injection, the number, and frequency of sessions all being of high relevance.

The treatment process typically begins with weekly injections for several weeks, followed by bi-weekly and monthly maintenance sessions. A single session every week to ten days is carried out, whereby injections are administered at a depth of 1 to 2mm and 4 to 6mm. The total volume of injection per treatment area should not exceed 10cc, with each injection delivering between 0.1 to 0.2cc per point. Treatment sessions are brief, lasting around 30 minutes, and should be spaced at intervals of one to two weeks at most.

Performing mesotherapy with Eliance represents a cutting-edge treatment approach to cellulite that can help achieve a smoother, more toned appearance in a non-invasive, non-surgical way.

The IED (intra epidermal) method is ideal for treating atrophic scars. This treatment is also suitable for both the preoperative and postoperative phases of surgery, and aims to promote faster recovery of affected tissue.

This particular mesotherapy protocol involves disinfection with 70% isopropyl alcohol followed by injections at varying depths. The injections range from 2mm in superficial intradermal (IDS or “topping”) to 4mm in the deep intradermal layer (IDP). Lidocaine 1% 2ml may also be added to increase treatment comfort.

Dry mesotherapy involves making multiple superficial punctures into the epidermis or superficial dermis using an empty syringe with a 4mm needle attached. The goal of this particular method is to produce a stimulatory effect.

In contrast, wet mesotherapy involves the topical application of active ingredients prior to treatment, so that the skin is moist. This technique is mainly used in the medical field for treating hyperalgesic rebound phases (e.g. in sciatica treatment) or for administering certain vaccines to infants.

The papule IDS Injection is a superficial intradermal injection that involves injecting active ingredients at the skin’s basal level. This results in what is known as “embossing”, where the skin turns white between the epidermis and superficial dermis. It is slightly painful and may require topical numbing of the skin in advance. The injection is administered using a 30g x 4mm needle with the bevel up. In comparison to other delivery methods, around 1/10th of a ml can be injected per point, making it an efficient treatment.

The process of glazing involves the quick movement of the needle across the skin’s surface, resulting in the slight penetration of the epidermis at depths ranging from 0.5 to 3mm. The distance between each puncture is typically 1 to 1.5mm. A droplet of active ingredient is deposited upon each impact. These droplets then merge with specific receptors within the dermis.

In order to execute this technique successfully, a 4mm needle is held vertically with the bevel down. The main benefit of this technique is applicable to almost all indications, whether for skin rejuvenation or for medical purposes.

This is a therapeutic technique that involves the precise injection of substances at specific points. It’s aimed at reducing the amount of potentially toxic drugs such as anaesthetics and muscle relaxants. By injecting at the source, greater active ingredient efficiency and faster action results. Due to the small number of injection points, it’s essential to ensure that each injection is done in the right place.

This particular method involves a gradual and step-by-step approach to mesotherapy injection administration, with injections being made between depths of 4 and 10 mm through the use of a programmed mesoinfusion device such as the Eliance. While this approach has traditionally been suggested for cases involving algology and acute or stubborn rheumatology, it may also prove beneficial in the treatment of pain, insomnia, persistent migraines, alongside a number of other stubborn pathologies.

Ensuring adequate hygiene is vital for the safety of both patients and practitioners, and considered a crucial aspect of mesotherapy quality assurance. During mesotherapy sessions, a range of objects are used and handled, all of which can potentially contaminate the numerous micro-wounds resulting from the injections. Given that the skin and mucous membranes are constantly exposed to a large variety of microorganisms, it is essential to maintain strict hygiene standards.

In mesotherapy, hygiene is key. The practitioner should begin by thoroughly washing their hands and wrists with antiseptic soap, drying them with either a paper towel or disposable woven cloth. A blouse or t-shirt with short sleeves allows the practitioner to keep all clothing above the elbow and prevents it from interfering with treatments. Worktops, trolleys and treatment trays used to store mesotherapy devices and accessories should be regularly disinfected between treatment sessions, and any examination sheets used should be single-use.

In order to reduce the risk of infection, patients planning to undertake mesotherapy on the body should be instructed to wear clean clothing and to shower prior to treatments. Belts, stockings, sleeves and trousers that are too tight should not be worn.

General guidelines:

• All injection equipment should be sterile and disposable, with injectable active ingredients discarded after each use.

• Drug mixtures should be prepared and used extemporaneously.

• The mesotherapy gun should be adequately cleaned between treatment sessions.

• Injection equipment should be CE or UKCA marked and used strictly according to manufacturer instructions.

• Washing equipment with tap water or any other liquid should be avoided, unless specifically instructed to do so.

• For best hygiene practices, only sterile single-use needles, syringes and skin stabilisers should be used.

• Sterile consumables should always be changed between patients to prevent microbiological and cross-contamination.

Before treatments, patients should report any allergies or abnormal reactions during previous medical treatments, including previous mesotherapy sessions, to their treating practitioner. They must be instructed to not take aspirin or anti-inflammatory medication within 48 hours of each session. It is also important for them to disclose whether they may be pregnant, as well as to disclose any illnesses or diseases that may affect them. Patients should avoid applying products or creams on the areas treated and for the first 24 hours after each session, they must avoid ionisation, epilation and hair dyeing.
